Meet Nella - a four-piece female-fronted band playing rock, pop, alternative and soul cover tunes as well as original songs that plays with empathy and deep soul. Soaring guitar solos and stirring vocals are what you can expect from this band.
Nella boasts a unique family dynamic - comprised of lead vocalist Celine Allen also playing electric ukulele and percussion, her father Keith Allen on drums, vocals and percussion, her Uncle Dave Allen on lead guitar and bassist Mike Greene. Fun music math… adding each member’s experience together, the band have been playing live for 150 years!!

Whiskey Concussion
Whiskey Concussion is a rock cover band kicking out your favourite heavy hits from all decades – 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond. Based out of Toronto and Mississauga, they’ve been rocking the GTA and shattering ear drums for the past 8 years.
ALL SPICED
All Spiced is once again turning up the heat with an all new spicy blend of new talent! Bringing a mixed band as opposed to an All Female Band to Govfest is a new experiment and we plan to entertain, but most of all, to have a blast!
Created in 2019 by Dolly Currie, All Spiced has participated in every single Govfest, including the Virtual Govfest during Covid in 2020.
We are still waiting for the invitation to open for Taylor Swift in Toronto! However, Here is what the Band says, “If you want to get your music kicks, don’t go to route 66, just come and listen to ALL SPICED”!

96k is led by singer Charmaine Blair who is also a public service worker. This 5-piece, high-energy cover band is grounded in funk, soul, classic RnB and top 40 hits. 96k performs at all kinds of special events like weddings and other life celebrations and corporate functions. The band enjoys playing at various festivals including the popular Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival, and occasionally you’ll find them at popular venues throughout the GTA. Treblemakers
Based out of Uxbridge, this six-piece rock band is shaking up the Uxbridge garage scene with their dynamic sound and powerful performances. Recently infused with fresh energy from two new vocalists, the group blends soaring harmonies with gritty instrumentals, crafting a style that draws inspiration from classic rock and modern anthems alike. Their rehearsals are a high-energy fusion of creativity and camaraderie, as they fine-tune their sound and prepare for more live performances.
New Original Cyn
Returning to the stage after a forced one-year hiatus is New Original Cyn with a unique blend of R&B, rock and blues featuring the powerhouse vocals of Cyn Amoah. This quintet of musicians are actively trying to keep their respectable day jobs from interfering with their sonic ambitions. Get ready for the guilty pleasure that is “New Original Cyn”.
The Final Final
Named to make light of the mind-numbing nature of government approvals (“but is it the final final?”) this four-piece brings together past members of past Govfest acts like the Secondments and Late Shift to rock the stage with a mix of modern, alternative, punky and indie-leaning rock.
The One-Offs
The One-Offs are certified 100% public sector fresh! They are a bunch of friends all from Toronto Transportation Services dedicated to having fun and embarrassing themselves in front of large audiences. They love to play music together, and above all, they love to play live! They are proud to be representatives for the City of Toronto at GovFest 2024, and would like to thank everybody for coming out in support of the United Way and Ryan’s Well.
